Day Nine - Saddest Game Scene
Final Fantasy VII
The death of Aeris is sad. But the death of Zack Fair is heart wrenching. In retrospect, the whole game is defined by sadness, sacrifice, and hardship.

MONDO always puts out quality, but never quantity. Always sells out too quickly.

Live on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, 4/9/2012

I love Jarvis’ moves here - so conversational, like he’s a teacher attempting to have a “rap session” with some students.

When I got to her house, she said, ‘I’ve never taken acid, so I can’t sing about that stuff.’ She’s done lots of other drugs, but not acid. So she was like, ‘Why don’t we do some acid, and then I can sing about it.’ She told her assistant, ‘Go get us some acid.’ Her assistant would’ve just ran out and got everybody a bunch of acid— how great is that? But we didn’t, because I was like, ‘Listen lady, I’m not going to do a bunch of acid with you tonight, because we have to record.’ Plus, I didn’t really want her to. The way she is, it’s as though she’s on acid already.

The Flaming Lips’ Wayne Coyne talks to us about working with Ke$ha. (via pitchfork)

‘Eyes, eyes! New eyes for old!’ shouted a tiny woman in front of a table covered with bottles and jars filled with eyes of every kind and colour.

‘Instruments of music from a hundred lands!’

‘Penny whistles! Tuppenny Hums! Threepenny choral anthems!’

‘Try your luck! Step right up! Answer a simple riddle and win a wind-flower!’

‘Everlasting lavender! Bluebell cloth!’

‘Bottled dreams, a shilling a bottle!’

‘Coats of night! Coats of twilight! Coats of dusk!’

‘Swords of fortune! Wands of power! Rings of eternity! Cards of grace! Roll-up, roll-up, step this way!’
